Do you think Technology can Replace Human beings?

It is an era of technological advancement. Automation in every field is replacing human beings. No doubt that technology is making all the processes efficient, and we can do a large volume of work in minutes, but still we cannot deny the importance of human beings. The important thing to ponder is that machines cannot work until they are given instructions by human beings.

Customer Services

If we talk about customer services, IVR can provide services, but they cannot provide state-of-the-art services which are designed according to the unique requirements of customers. The machines can follow only some instructions, and they cannot go out of the box to help customers. Here comes the importance of humans that can go at any level considering the company’s limitation to help the customers.

Banking Sector

Our desire to deal with a human has a great impact on automation. The automated teller machine is one of the examples. It was developed in the 1960s and got famous in the 70s and 80s. But now in 2022, some banks still have tellers. Conveniently, you can take money out even if the banks are closed. However, to deal with money matters, you still want to talk to a banker.

Medical Sciences

In medical sciences, we need to deal with doctors no matter how advanced the machinery is to diagnose the ailment of the patient. The result that machinery provides is interpreted by doctors and they prescribe the treatment accordingly. Despite technological advancement, medical sciences cannot work without human intervention.

Hotel Industry

In the hotel industry, technology is used to replace wait staff with the assistance of an iPad menu. One of the restaurants in Francisco has removed the people from the scene. When customers place their orders, food is delivered through cubbies. No person is there to serve. Some people don’t like this type of experience. They want humans to welcome them and answer their questions about the menus. Additionally, bring them the food according to their requirements.

Transport Industry

No doubt, technology has made commuting easy. You can look for the nearest drive from Uber or Careem applications and the driver comes to pick you up from the location. Despite the application, the driver texts or calls to investigate where you want to go. The driver as a human drives a car.

 Wrapping Up

With research and development, technology is making progress in every field. It is making our tasks easy, but it is a universal fact that human interaction with each other and in the operation of the machine will remain. Technology is not useful in every situation. Sometimes you need to consider human emotions and feelings that machines cannot understand. The end of the story is, technology cannot replace a human being.
